The venue is clean and reasonably large with perfect views. The room is perfectly clean with an outdoor bathroom.- There is a variety of options and lovely food.- The guesthouse is located near a national park and a lighthouse, providing a secluded atmosphere.

We stayed at Black Bear Guesthouse for a weekend getaway and had an amazing experience. The hosts were friendly and provided great recommendations for restaurants and tours. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. They even thoughtfully provided raincoats and boots for exploring in the rain, as well as basic cutlery and plates for the Cedar room. The location was perfect, with Chesterman Beach just a short walk away and a quick drive into town. We loved everything about our stay, from the beautiful house to the helpful hosts.

The Black Bear Guesthouse exceeded our expectations in every way. The value for money was outstanding, as we received top-notch service and amenities at an affordable price. The attention to detail was superb, from the beautifully decorated rooms with their good views, to the homemade touches in the delicious breakfasts. The location was ideal, being situated in a quiet family-oriented neighborhood within a short walk of the beach. We especially appreciated having our own kitchen in the room, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
